This 2,700lbs car has factory cold air intake with a factory Holley throttle body – plus my K&N air filter. I’ve upgraded to an MSD ignition system, dropped it about an inch with Eibach springs, poly bushings, a fat front sway bar, and new Sens-a-Trac shocks and struts. I gutted and installed a new black and grey interior with custom leather seats and stereo. On the outside, I had that killer hood and low front chin installed before getting the gun-metal metallic and satin black paint job! I painted the calipers red, of course, and had the original wheel painted black to match. I'm quite proud of my novice fabrication skills and the results of my custom taillight panel. I’ve done a lot of other work to the car myself as well. I had to replace the alternator (twice), I did a full brake job, new (red illuminated) stereo head unit, heater core, full ignition system, and clutch master and slave. Things I didn’t do myself, but got done was a clutch kit and axles, A/C system restoration, engine and transmission mounts, new catalytic converter and that suspension work I mentioned earlier.
I’m not done yet… Next up, tint, headlight conversion, and making a decision on what to do with the engine... clean it up or swap it out?
